Welcome to Magnetic Earth Studios Online
For 12 wonderful and rewarding years, spanning December 2012 – October 2024, I successfully ran Magnetic Earth Studios, Crystal & Gift Shop, on Heartlands mining heritage site in Pool, Cornwall. Despite the locals taking ‘Heartlands’ to their hearts, the economic downturn of the last two years took its toll and the Heartlands site itself underwent insolvency in January of 2024.
Not wanting to be defeated and despite an appalling lack of visitor footfall I ‘limped along’ for several more months. But it became clear by the end of September 2024 that the longevity of my beloved crystal shop was under threat from closure and Magnetic Earth Studios moved completely online by 1st October 2024.
Despite being no stranger to marketing, the strategies involved in driving business to an online site come with an entirely different set of challenges, but I pride myself on ‘lovingly chosen’, high-grade crystals from distributors with whom I have forged long-standing relationships based on trust, integrity and mutual respect.
It is still my long-held dream to bring crystal world to your doorstep and although recent years have seen a dramatic change in our everyday shopping habits, forcing small businesses like my own to grow and evolve, I strive continually to maintain my exemplary reputation for quality and affordability through my online shopping experience.
Magnetic Earth boasts a fabulous collection of hand -picked crystals, polished stones, jewellery and holistic gifts. My unique selling point is; “What you see is what you get!”. If the description by the photo says: “This is the EXACT item you will receive, then my promise to you is, that IS the item you will receive!
There is no doubt that I will miss the face-to-face contact that I have had with my customers in the local community, but I sincerely hope that I can translate that personal service to my online offering at Magnetic Earth.
