Covid -19 ‘The Call Goes Out’ – Tarot as a Tool for Guidance.
I have used the Tarot as a tool for the subconscious for many years. Twice weekly during ‘The Call Goes out’ blog spot, I will be selecting a card from this ancient, divinely inspired deck of cards and contemplating its meaning and guidance.
Today’s card (31/3/2020) is: The King of Wands.
This card is associated with the element of fire, spirituality and the human will. It offers the double aspect of fire, suggesting the passion and enthusiasm needed to keep the powerful mental imagery in ‘The Call Goes Out’ both regular and disciplined.
As Einstein said; “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. In what Kate and I see as the ‘war effort’ against Covid -19, we really do need your regular and sustained effort to visualise the ‘net of fire’ building. That is the message of the Tarot today.
Assigned to the path of Chokmah to Yesod in Kabbalistic traditions, drawing this card reinforces the energy (fire) needed to create through mercy and compassion (Chokmah), the ‘net of fire’ (imagery used to destroy the virus) and place it in the astral or dream plane (Yesod). I am merely a student of the kabbalah and my understanding is limited, so this is just my personal interpretation.
‘Seeing is believing’… if everyone using the Audio version of the Visualisation starts to ‘see’ the net of fire growing, then this is the process of group mental imagery at its most powerful. When everyone participating has the same common goal (destroying the virus through the power of fire) and can access the emotions we will feel once that goal has been achieved (elation, euphoria, relief etc) then we are more than on track.
We all want an end to this… The King of Rods reminds us to ‘hold on to that passion’ and deliver the goal with dedication and enthusiasm.
